You Are Loved!

You're Loved!

More than you know.

More than you see.

Deeper than you’ve dared to dream.
All you fear might hold you back
has been wiped away,
Forgiven,
covered by Grace.
Our Holy God who created you,
knows you,
calls you His own,
looks at you with love
and says, “You are mine forever.”
Your heart has a home
and it’s not a place but
Jesus Christ.
He Will Never Let You Go!

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

CARRYING OUR PAST WITH US

Are we carrying our past with us and allowing it to weigh us down and rob us of the Joy of the Lord and the Peace He can give us?

The array of Past issues people often carry:

Broken Relationships

Failures

Regrets

Fears

Failed Marriages

Bad Habits-gambling, substance abuse, porno, etc.

Lost Hopes and Dreams

Abuses-sexual, physical and/or emotional abuses

Unforgiveness and Bitterness

Do we know how to live without carrying our past and burdens?

Have we grown use to and comfortable carrying our past and burdens?

The story of Moses leading the Israelites out of the bondage of slavery under the Egyptians, is a perfect biblical example of a people severing themselves from the past.

Expect a Surprising way that God will help us sever from our past and burdens.

The Israelites became fearful and questioned Moses and were willing to go back as slaves to the Egyptians rather than die in the desert. The Israelites did not trust in God.

“As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us bringing us out of Egypt? Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” Exodus 14:10-12

This is an example of the past being “what we know.” Feeling more comfortable with the known , even if there is bondage and suffering in the known. The unknown may seem daunting and make us insecure. We may hold onto the past rather than trust God. We have to give our past and baggage to God. Satan wants to overload us with the problems and anxieties of this world. Satan wants us to be bound to our past.

God can and will make a way when there seems to be no way. Our Lord knows the way through the wilderness. We may not like or understand the way, but if we always keep our hand in the hand of Jesus, He will deliver us and give us a peace that passes all understanding. The Lord will fight for you—just seek His face always and trust Him.

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14

“Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.” Psalm 55:22

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

I LOOK UP

God is Enough. God is forever faithful. God is my refuge and comfort. My human mind and emotions are often weak, but God rescues me just when life seems the toughest.
Found the following today and it has spoken and resonated within my soul all day. It gave me a spiritual reality check and gives me great comfort.
May this Bless and inspire those who read it.
God is Enough!!!

I LOOK UP

I looked down and I found
that everything looked bad,
I looked back and I saw
so many things that were sad.
I looked up and I could feel
the sun shine on my face,
I felt love, and I felt peace,
and Gods Heavenly grace.
I realized everyday what I needed to do,
No matter what I was doing,
or what I was going through.
If I looked down I missed the hope,
and the strength for the day,
If I looked back I’d dwell on things,
I could not change anyway.
But looking up I would find everything that I need,
I’d have a reason to keep trying,
knowing with God I could succeed.

Everyday as I pray I ask God for His will,
Knowing He takes care of me,
and no matter what He loves me still.
And when I’m down, and feeling like
there is no hope around,
I look up and I realize,
where true hope is found.
When I look back and I worry about,
what has already been done,
I look up and I see the battles over,
and my Father has won.
Yes looking up my soul is filled
with Gods peace, and Gods love,
My life is blessed everyday,
because of my Father above.

IS CHRIST YOUR ALL???

What can we Do For Christ???
Have we died to self? Does absolutely ALL of me belong to Christ?
Do we live a life that is separate and different from the world? Are we pursuing Holiness in our life through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit?
Are our thoughts, actions and reactions to all in life reflective of the Holy Spirit and a changed person within?

This is a writing from another blog site. It is powerful and important to read, reflect on and allow the Holy Spirit to change or strengthen our life path here on earth.

HIS - ABSOLUTELY!
It's easy to miss, Philippians 1:1-'slaves of Jesus Christ' (doulos-Greek word). Not a servant, but a slave. Paul & Timothy belong to Jesus Christ-they are His property. Their will has been swallowed up in the will of Christ, their heart is saturated with the life of Another, their desire is single, undisputed-to please their Master, do His will, bring glory to His name. Wesley captures this spirit in his covenant service, "Put me to what you will, rank me with who you will...". Oswald Chambers says, "Be absolutely His!". Whether in what some would say is a big way, or in a simple way, those used of Christ, those who break the darkness with His light, who overwhelm the harshness & hatred of this world with love, who diffuse compassion in a selfish, uncaring world, those who do so are 'slaves of Christ.' These are the holy ones of God. These are His-bought with a price they glorify God with their bodies. Their lives speak of One greater who has invaded them with holy grace. Those who are filled with the Holy Spirit so that they are HIS! Their sacred journey is the road less traveled, the narrow path that leads to life, they are following in the footsteps of Jesus. The world does not understand, but it doesn't matter: grace produces a life beyond explanation. They are focused on the 'least of these.' Their reward is in the Master's affirmation, 'well done good & faithful servant'. They neither strive for recognition nor glory, Christ is their all. When all else in life is forgotten, they want to remember, I'm His & His forever!
